**Weekly Hours:** 40**Role Number:** 200654003-0836**Summary**As an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) supporting the Watch Product Design (PD) organization, you will join a team of PD EPMs that is responsible for technical project management and assisting engineering development with one of our Watch PD teams. The successful candidate will be a fearless organizer, utilizing a solid Mechanical Engineering background to drive day-to-day activities with the team to meet the top level program objectives. The PD EPM focuses on system-level mechanical engineering design, managing development planning and validation cycles.**Description**The PD EPM focuses on system-level mechanical engineering design, managing development planning and validation cycles.**Minimum Qualifications**+ Engineering degree or equivalent required; BSME Preferred+ 2+ years prior product development experience in project management or mechanical engineering design+ Detailed knowledge of product development process and cycles+ Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes**Preferred Qualifications**+ Experience interfacing with mechanical engineering/design, operations, and vendors+ Experience setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures+ Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills. Able to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience+ Strong interpersonal skills, oriented toward teamwork+ Self motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative and critical thinking capabilities+ Understands and able to handle rapid development cycles well; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity+ Ability to travel internationally to support builds+ Any of the following is also a plus:+ Experience in consumer electronics+ Experience as a practicing engineer+ Experience with high-volume manufacturingApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
