Program Manager
SHR Talent is partnering with an established manufacturing organization to identify a Program Manager to join its growing team.This individual will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal operations, managing complex, specification-driven programs from initial award through final delivery. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure customer requirements are understood and executed successfully.The organization is open to a range of backgrounds and experience levels, including high-potential candidates ready to take the next step as well as experienced professionals capable of assuming broader responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage assigned customer programs from award through production and delivery.Serve as a primary point of contact between customers and internal teams.Review and interpret customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and contractual documentation.Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and outside vendors.Manage program schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables.Proactively identify risks, delays, or execution challenges and coordinate appropriate solutions.Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding program status and requirements.Develop strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers.Partner with technical resources to address complex product or manufacturing requirements.Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to leadership.Ensure customer requirements and applicable quality standards are consistently met.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, execution, and overall program performance.Ideal CandidateExperience in program management, project management, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related technical environment.Strong technical or mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex, specification-driven products.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate across technical, operational, and customer-facing teams.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proactive, hands-on mentality with the ability to identify gaps and take ownership of solutions.Ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.PMP certification is a plus but not required.Experience within a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.Experience managing complex customer programs or projects is beneficial.Familiarity with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
