Switch Engineer

Role: Sr. Switch Engineer Location: San Francisco Bay Area, CA Job Description: Define product requirements and specifications and create test plans to ensure the product is strong and reliable. Collaborate with design studio and engineering teams in different areas such as mechanical, electrical, controls, integration, user experience, durability, craftsmanship, and ergonomics. Coordinate with suppliers and initiate tooling to meet project deadlines. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and developing electromechanical products with mechanical and electrical interfaces that have high-quality cosmetic requirements for an excellent user experience inside the vehicle. Knowledge of haptics and experience in conducting focus group assessments. Ability to lead discussions on tactile user experience with cross-functional teams in the automotive industry. Education: BS/MS degree in engineering, Job Type: Contract Pay: Up to $85.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road
