This team supports highly available operational technology environments where infrastructure reliability, cybersecurity, and operational continuity are essential.SummaryThis is a senior-level, hands-on infrastructure engineering role within a Systems & Infrastructure team supporting real-time operational systems. The position focuses on maintaining secure, highly available server and virtualization environments while contributing technical leadership across operational and infrastructure initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support both Windows and Linux server environmentsMaintain VMware or Nutanix virtualization infrastructureSupport physical and virtual server environments across operational systemsManage storage, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery processesPerform patch management and cybersecurity hardening activitiesMonitor system performance, operational reliability, and infrastructure healthSupport compliance initiatives related to security controls and infrastructure standardsSupport OT/SCADA-related infrastructure and operational systemsMentor junior engineers and contribute technical leadership across projects and initiativesParticipate in troubleshooting, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvement effortsRequirementsStrong hands-on experience administering both Windows and Linux server environmentsExperience supporting VMware or Nutanix virtualization platformsExperience working within regulated or high-availability operational environmentsKnowledge of security controls and compliance frameworks such as NERC CIP, NIST, PCI, SOX, or HIPAAStrong troubleshooting and infrastructure support capabilitiesAbility to work within mission-critical operational environments where uptime and reliability are essentialCompany Description:TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
