Data Center Infrastructure Systems Administrator (DCIM – Sunbird)We are seeking an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Systems Administrator to support and enhance a DCIM platform (Sunbird) within a large enterprise environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate data center asset, power, and connectivity information while helping drive improvements in infrastructure visibility, capacity planning, and operational efficiency.This individual will play a key role in supporting data center operations, including rack-level power, space, and cabling management, while partnering with internal teams and vendors to ensure optimal system performance and availability. The role also involves evaluating infrastructure changes, improving documentation, and supporting ongoing enhancements to tools and processes.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and optimize DCIM (Sunbird) systems, including asset tracking and reportingSupport data center operations related to power, space, and connectivityCollaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure capacity and availabilityDevelop and improve processes, documentation, and reporting metricsAssist with vendor coordination and issue resolutionContribute to system enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:8+ years of hands-on data center experience (power, cabling, rack infrastructure)Experience administering DCIM tools (preferably Sunbird dcTrack / PowerIQ)Knowledge of network cabling standards (CAT6, fiber) and rack-mounted systemsUnderstanding of electrical distribution and capacity planningExperience with data accuracy, asset lifecycle tracking, and documentationFamiliarity with tools such as Visio, AutoCAD, or similarNice to Have:Experience with ServiceNow or ITIL processesExposure to enterprise hardware (Cisco, Dell, HPE)Knowledge of cooling systems and data center best practicesBasic API, SQL, or SNMP knowledgeDetails:Long-term contract opportunity based in the Atlanta area (Tucker). Onsite role with flexible scheduling and strong potential for extension.
