General Definition of WorkThe CTE Teaching as a Profession Teacher, under general supervision, performs professional work and leadership in an educational environment that encourages and nurtures learning for all students. This position provides supervision to students in a variety of school related settings, monitors and evaluates student outcomes, and develops, selects or modifies lesson plans to ensure student educational needs are met. The CTE Teaching as a Profession Teacher performs complex work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures related to classroom instruction and student supervision under the direction of the principal.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
