Toucreek Technology Services is a fast-growing professional services firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a strategic partner to a leading global cloud networking company, we are expanding our professional services team. About the role:As a professional software engineer, you will own the full lifecycle of software products and tools. Your work will center on:Software development & delivery: Designing, implementing, and shipping complete, production-grade software solutions, not scripts or one-off automation.Codebase ownership: Maintaining, refactoring, and evolving existing software codebases with a focus on reliability, readability, and long-term maintainability.Framework & tool development: Building reusable frameworks, libraries, and internal tools that improve productivity for engineering and professional services teams.Quality & testing: Writing robust unit tests and participating in code reviews to ensure high software quality.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience)5–6 years of professional software development experience as a Software EngineerStrong proficiency in Python with a track record of writing production-quality software (not limited to automation scripts)Demonstrated history of delivering complete professional software projects from design through deployment and ongoing maintenanceHands-on experience maintaining and evolving existing software codebasesSolid experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest or equivalent)Proficiency with modern version control systems and collaborative workflows (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.)Comfortable working across the full software development lifecycleExperience working in Linux/Unix environmentsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and collaborativelyIntellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learningDesirablePrior experience at large-scale technology companies (e.g., Meta, Apple, or similar)Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Podman) and orchestration toolsExperience building and integrating APIs and third-party softwareBackground working in a customer-facing or professional services engineering environmentExposure to distributed systems conceptsWhat We Offer:Medical, dental, vision coverage401(k) matchingPTO + holidaysGrowth opportunities in a collaborative teamWe are an equal opportunity employer.
