The engagement runs approximately 12–14 weeks beginning May 2026 and supports a firm Base Operational Readiness milestone of July 1, 2026 and Full Scope Delivery of August 7, 2026. The migration moves Salesforce data, metadata, and business functionality from the parent company instance into the customer’s existing Salesforce Government Cloud Plus environment, delivered as refactor and extension on a live production tenant.Role SummaryArganteal is hiring a Senior Salesforce Engineer to own hands-on execution of the Salesforce migration. The engineer reports to the Arganteal Salesforce Solution Architect and is the technical owner of object, field, metadata, automation, and product catalog migration. Scope reflects approximately 400 objects, up to 700,000 records, and approximately 3,500 products across a single currency (USD), single region (US), and the Standard Price Book, to be confirmed during Discovery.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory in-scope Salesforce objects, fields, metadata, automations, CPQ components, products, pricing, and dependencies in the source environment, and contribute to the approved migration plan and scope baselinePrepare and operate migration tooling and scripts (SFDX, Data Loader, sfdmu, or equivalent approved tooling)Execute migration of approved objects, fields, metadata, accounts, related records, and the full product catalog with associated Price Book Entries into the target Government Cloud Plus environmentIdentify, assess, migrate, and validate approved Apex classes, triggers, test classes, Flows, workflow rules, and validation rules; determine what must travel with the migration and what must be left behindImplement the Salesforce data structure for license key and license file storage and association with customer entitlementsCoordinate with the Revenue Cloud / CPQ Specialist on the Steelbrick to Revenue Cloud data structure refactor and with the Salesforce Security & Configuration Engineer on environment setup supporting migration loadsPerform reconciliation, defect remediation, and validation of functional and business process outcomes; support Customer-led UATExecute final production migration and cutover activities supporting the July 1, 2026 Base Operational Readiness milestone, and support hyper-care through Full Scope Delivery on August 7, 2026Deliver migration documentation and knowledge transfer materials, including architecture diagrams, configuration documentation, and admin handoff materialsRequired QualificationsEight or more years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience, with at least five years focused on data and metadata migrationDemonstrated personal ownership of at least one large-scale Salesforce migration (500,000+ records or comparable complexity) — the migration execution itself, not the surrounding program managementProduction-level proficiency with SFDX, Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, Tooling API, Data Loader, and at least one of sfdmu, Gearset, Copado, OwnBackup migration tooling, or equivalentApex development depth sufficient to assess, refactor, and migrate Apex classes, triggers, and test classesFlow, workflow rule, and validation rule migration experience, including assessment of automations for target environment compatibilityWorking knowledge of Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) data structures sufficient to coordinate on a CPQ refactorDemonstrated experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud data models, and Price Book / Price Book Entry migration patternsSource control discipline: Git, branching, pull requests, code reviewStrong written communication suitable for federal subcontract delivery (migration plans, runbooks, validation reports, as-built documentation)Preferred QualificationsSalesforce Government Cloud Plus delivery experienceFedRAMP Moderate or GCC High environment experienceFederal systems integrator subcontract delivery experience (Booz Allen, GDIT, Leidos, ManTech, or comparable)Salesforce Platform Developer I required-level depth; Platform Developer II preferredSalesforce Data Architect or Application Architect certificationExperience with Experience Cloud / Communities data and sharing modelsPrior delivery against a FOCI-mitigated or divestiture data migrationThis engagement requires Contiguous U.S. residency, the ability to work on FedRAMP Moderate or higher compliant equipment, and successful completion of a customer-administered background investigation prior to start.
