Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per yearAre you a grant professional who enjoys turning strong ideas into funded programs that create real impact in communities?Rebuilding Together Greater Florida is seeking a Grant Development Manager to lead and strengthen our grant strategy across a growing statewide organization. This role guides the full lifecycle of grant development, from identifying funding opportunities and leading proposal development to managing reporting, compliance, and long-term funder relationships.Working closely with leadership and program teams, the Grant Development Manager helps secure the funding that supports housing rehabilitation, disaster recovery, and community revitalization across Florida. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution, and who is excited to mentor a team while expanding the organizations impact.This hybrid leadership role may be based in Tampa or Orlando, Florida.Who We AreRebuilding Together Greater Florida (RTGFL) is a leading nonprofit improving housing stability across more than 21 Florida counties. For more than two decades, we have repaired homes, revitalized communities, and rebuilt lives for low-income families, older adults, individuals with disabilities, and disaster-impacted households.Our mission is simple but powerful: Repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives.About the RoleThe Grant Development Manager leads and elevates RTGFLs grant strategy and oversees the full grant lifecycle from prospect research and proposal development to reporting, compliance, and funder stewardship.This role supervises a team of grant writers and works closely with program, finance, and operations leaders to secure the funding that fuels RTGFLs mission and statewide growth.This is a hybrid position based out of either our Tampa or Orlando office and reports to the Vice President of Development.ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyLead and mentor a team of grant writers, ensuring accountability, quality, and productivityDevelop a multi-year grant strategy to support RTGFLs statewide expansionSet annual goals, KPIs, and manage the organizational grant calendarEnsure all submissions reflect alignment with RTGFLs mission and impact outcomesGrant Research, Writing & SubmissionConduct in-depth research on government, foundation, corporate, and community funding opportunitiesWrite, edit, and oversee proposals, LOIs, budgets, narratives, and supporting materialsEnsure timely, compliant submission of all grant applications and reportsCollaborate with Finance to ensure budget accuracy and funder alignmentReporting, Compliance & Data ManagementManage interim and final reporting, performance data, and impact storytellingMaintain systems for deadlines, submissions, reporting schedules, and award trackingPartner with program teams to gather client stories, service numbers, outcome data, and photosRelationship Building & StewardshipCultivate strong relationships with funders, program officers, grant managers, and partnersAttend virtual funder sessions, briefings, and networking opportunitiesSupport stewardship efforts such as updates, thank-you communications, and site visit coordinationCross-Department CollaborationWork closely with Operations, Construction, Intake, Finance, and Program leadershipSupport storytelling and content needs for broader development initiativesWhat We Are Looking ForBachelors degree in nonprofit management, communications, business administration, public relations, English, or related field (Masters preferred)5+ years of grant writing and grant management experience2+ years of supervisory or leadership experienceProven success securing government, foundation, and corporate grantsStrong understanding of grant mechanisms, compliance, and nonprofit budgetingExceptional writing, editing, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, hybrid work environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce/CRM experience preferredStrong commitment to RTGFLs mission and valuesBenefitsUp to 80 hours of PTO plus paid holidays401(k) with employer matchHRA reimbursement:$526.16/month (single)$900/month (all other statuses)Hybrid work model (Tampa or Orlando office presence required)Working ConditionsHybrid role (in-office presence required in Tampa or Orlando)Occasional travel for funder meetings or internal team gatheringsMust maintain a professional workspace and reliable internet for remote work portionsReady to Apply?If you are a strategic, mission-driven grant professional ready to strengthen RTGFLs statewide impact, we want to hear from you.To apply, please submit:Your resumeA cover letter (optional but encouraged)Two writing samples (preferably grant narratives, LOIs, or funded proposal excerpts)Evidence of prior grant success, such as:A list of awarded grants you have writtenDollar amounts securedFunder names (if not confidential)Brief descriptions of funded projects
