This position supports both clinical and administrative dental services to ensure high-quality care for our veterans.Key Responsibilities:Provide chair-side assistance for general and specialty dental procedures (restorative, prosthodontic, surgical)Prepare treatment rooms and instruments in accordance with procedural requirementsAssist during procedures by retracting tissue, suctioning, and passing instrumentsTake and process digital radiographsFollow strict infection control protocols and VA safety and privacy standardsSupport the medical center's mission with a customer-focused, respectful attitude toward patients, staff, visitors, and volunteersWork under the general supervision of the Dental Chief or designeeMust be available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM)Qualifications:No license required - DANB certification is accepted but not mandatoryCurrent BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredStrong interpersonal skills and commitment to patient carePrior dental assisting experience preferred, especially in a clinical or VA settingHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and a copy of your BLS certification by September 16 to:
