Our technology platform uses data and automation to make equipment financing faster, simpler, and more accessible for business owners across the United States.About The RoleThe Operations Controller helps Clicklease maintain accurate, scalable, and compliant financial operations by overseeing operational accounting processes, financial reporting activities, and accounting controls across key business functions.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building operational rigor, improving accounting processes, partnering cross-functionally, and leading teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.The TeamYou’ll join a collaborative Finance & Accounting organization focused on operational excellence, financial integrity, and scalable growth. The team partners closely with Operations, Risk, Treasury, and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and maintain strong financial controls.What You’ll DoLead operational accounting activities related to monthly close, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controlsManage and develop a team of accounting professionals while supporting performance, coaching, and prioritizationOversee accounting operations for key business processes and Clicklease subsidiariesPartner cross-functionally with Operations, Treasury, Risk, and leadership teams to improve financial accuracy and scalabilityIdentify and implement process improvements that strengthen controls, efficiency, and reporting qualitySupport audit readiness, compliance activities, and adherence to accounting policies and proceduresWhat You Have5+ years of experience in accounting, financial operations, or controllership functions2+ years of experience leading or managing accounting teamsExperience managing month-end close processes, reconciliations, and operational accounting workflowsExperience analyzing financial data and identifying process improvement opportunitiesBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experienceExperience working with ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet/reporting toolsWhat Will Make You Stand OutExperience in fintech, financial services, or lending environmentsCPA certification or progress toward certificationExperience supporting multi-entity or subsidiary accounting operationsExperience improving accounting automation or operational workflowsWhat Success Looks Like In The First 6 MonthsBuild strong working relationships across Finance, Operations, and leadership teamsImprove accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of operational accounting processesIdentify and implement at least 1–2 meaningful process or control improvementsSuccessfully lead the team through month-end close cycles with strong audit readiness and reporting qualityWhy Join ClickleaseClicklease is transforming how small businesses access the equipment they need to grow.
