This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting customers in person, and developing new business opportunities.This position is approximately 50% outside sales (meeting potential customers) and 50% remote work (prospecting, quoting, and managing accounts from home).ResponsibilitiesProspect and develop new shipper relationships through cold outreach, networking, and referralsConduct in-person meetings with prospective customers to present logistics solutionsIdentify shipping needs and provide competitive freight quotesBuild and manage a pipeline of potential customersMaintain strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat businessCollaborate with operations to ensure smooth execution of shipmentsTrack activity and sales pipeline in CRM toolsStay informed on market trends and pricing in the freight industryQualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation salesProven ability to generate new business and close dealsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable with cold outreach and prospectingSelf-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environmentWillingness to travel locally for in-person customer meetingsStrong organizational and time management skillsExperience with CRM systems and freight pricing tools is a plusReliable transportation for local meetingsCollege degree not requiredSalary - $45-60k + Commission
