Aviation EngineerDallas/Fort Worth, TX · Full-Time · On-SitePosition OverviewA nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm is seeking a skilled Aviation Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of aviation and airport-related infrastructure projects.This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to develop engineering solutions for complex aviation facilities. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, aviation project experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across design and engineering disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport engineering design for aviation and airport-related projects, including terminal facilities and associated infrastructure.Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documentation.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and specialty consultants to ensure integrated project delivery.Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, aviation standards, and regulatory requirements.Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and stakeholder coordination.Assist with construction administration activities, including submittal review and site visits as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, or related discipline).5–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in aviation or public-sector projects.Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure preferred.Strong knowledge of building systems and infrastructure design.Experience with engineering design software relevant to discipline.Understanding of aviation authority standards and regulatory coordination.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsExperience on airport terminals, concourses, or airside/landside infrastructure projects.Experience working on large-scale, complex public-sector facilities.Familiarity with sustainability standards and high-performance building systems.BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life and disability insurance.401(k) plan with profit sharing.Flexible spending accounts.Paid time off including holidays and vacation.Professional development and licensure support.
