Job Description
Essential DutiesManage the construction administration process for all company projects, including: Develop/Maintain inspection processes for the complete life cycle of projectsServe as liaison to clients and contractors during the construction administration processMaintain a master inspection schedule working closely with architects and contractorsConduct field inspectionsEnsure that all field report items are completed in a proper, timely mannerEnsure compliance with safety and quality standardsMonitor and answer Requests for Information and Change Proposal Requests during construction administration processWork closely with the Principals and Project Managers to ensure that each project meets company standards according to specifications and drawingsMake construction-related decisions as necessaryReview specifications, shop drawings, addendums, and other construction documentsRequired skills and knowledge5+ years of experience in an MEP construction or consulting environment5+ years of experience in field project management in an MEP consulting environmentExcellent ability to read construction documents, including MEP drawings and specificationsExcellent knowledge of building codesKnowledge in the construction of power distribution, power and lighting, data networks, telephone and intercom systems, fire alarm systems, security and access control systems, and other standard electrical systemsKnowledge in the construction of HVAC systems, xmcpwfu temperature controls, and other standard mechanical systemsKnowledge in the construction of domestic water systems, hot water systems, storm water systems, sanitary waste and vent systems, acid waste systems, fire sprinkler systems, compressed air systems, gas distribution systems and fuel gas systems, and other standard plumbing systemsExceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects under strict deadlinesAbility to work well on a teamExceptional written and verbal skills
