Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and responding to inquiries with enthusiasm Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food properly, preparing light food items, and adhering to food safety protocols Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth café operations Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed for quick service Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining a lively and energetic demeanor Experience in serving or retail environments is advantageous but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for coffee meets your desire to deliver exceptional service.
