Job Overview **We are hiring for an opening goal of January/February 2026! Training will take place at our Greenwood location mid-November and you will be eligible to pick up open shifts but will not be scheduled until the Avon location is open. Please, keep this in mind when applying and we can't wait to build our future team!** -Avon Management We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, effective communication, and a strong knowledge of our menu offerings. This role requires a passion for food service, excellent customer relations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, SpotOn, and OpenTable. The Server will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction from greeting to check presentation, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting overall restaurant operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling responsibilities Assist with food preparation, sanitation, and kitchen support as needed to maintain cleanliness and efficiency Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience Support bussing duties by pre bussing, clearing tables and resetting for new guests Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations and food safety protocols Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant industry, or hospitality preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, SpotOn, and OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and guest satisfaction Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team Basic math skills for order accuracy, cash handling, and billing procedures Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $2.13 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Food provided Paid training Work Location: In person
