The Recovery Specialist II provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards.Shifts Available:Full- Time (0.8) | AM | Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Days: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and SundayExpected starting wage range is $21.00 - $23.71. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA/BS with one (1) year experience in mental health settingKnowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as mental and physical health conditions and terminologiesCertification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledgeProficient understanding of client advocacy and client rights as defined in Title 17 and Title 9Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employmentAll opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
