As a Billing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in processing customer billings and managing incoming materials. We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to excellence. Key Responsibilities Process high volumes of billing and accounting transactions efficiently and accurately. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask while meeting tight deadlines. Handle all aspects of Accounts Receivable Billing, including General Ledger account reconciliation, data entry, and billing. Uphold the company's core values: respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Utilize outstanding customer service skills when interacting with internal and external clients. Work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve departmental goals. Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team's success. Organize and prioritize tasks using strong organizational and deductive reasoning skills. Qualifications Associate's degree in business preferred. 1-3 years of accounting experience required. Prior experience within the construction industry is a plus. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. Work Requirements Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical(s), and criminal background check. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; ability to learn new software as needed. Maintain professionalism and courtesy with coworkers, supervisors, and clients always. Arrive punctually at the designated start time and demonstrate flexibility by working overtime when required. Adhere strictly to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Collaborate within a team environment, assisting coworkers and supervisors as needed. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation of legal rights to work. Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive position. Knowledge and Skills Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Competency in mathematics is relevant to billing and accounting duties. Proficient in 10-key operation. Basic knowledge of purchasing raw materials is a plus. Physical Requirements The role requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands and arms, talk, and hear regularly. Occasionally, you may need to climb, balance, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The position may require working outdoors-even in inclement weather. Specific vision abilities, such as distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception, are necessary.
