Document Controller

Job Description ** Document Control Coordinator ** ** Type: Contract ** Position Summary Seeking a Document Control Coordinator to support engineering and capital projects by managing project documentation, vendor deliverables, engineering drawings, and document workflows throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work within Aconex and other project systems to ensure documents are processed accurately, tracked appropriately, maintained in accordance with project requirements, and delivered on schedule. Responsibilities Process, track, and maintain engineering and vendor documentation. Manage revisions, transmittals, metadata, and document workflows within Aconex. Maintain document registers and status reports. Coordinate document submissions between vendors, engineers, project teams, and clients. Monitor overdue deliverables and support timely resolution. Support project startup and closeout activities. Compile job books, turnover documentation, and completion packages. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Document Control experience in an EPC, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or energy environment. Hands-on Aconex experience required. Experience with engineering drawings, vendor documentation, transmittals, document numbering, and revision control. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and large volumes of documentation. Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint preferred. Work independently and determine priorities without requiring detailed instruction for every task. Handle high volumes of documentation while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Think critically, identify issues, and help drive resolution. Work effectively with vendors, engineers, project managers, and clients. Understand document workflows, registers, revision control, transmittals, and vendor deliverables. Support project startup and closeout activities.
