This role will be a key technical contributor ensuring that the rich telemetry generated by these platforms flows into the centralized Observability Platform for unified visibility, alerting, and reporting via Grafana. This is a network-first role. The ideal candidate is deeply experienced working within teams that operate and mature enterprise-grade network monitoring platforms — contributing to device onboarding, alert tuning, dashboard development, and integration with downstream systems like ServiceNow and Grafana. You will serve as a strong technical voice on the network visibility team, helping to raise the bar on coverage, accuracy, and operational usefulness of the tooling. Collection📋 Loki Log Aggregation Key Responsibilities LogicMonitor — Configuration & Expansion • Contribute to the enterprise LogicMonitor deployment: collector management, device onboarding, datasource configuration, and platform health as part of the network visibility team • Develop and maintain LogicMonitor dashboards, alert thresholds, and escalation policies covering network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless Senior Network Visibility Engineer Req# • Build and customize LogicModules (DataSources, EventSources, PropertySources) to extend monitoring coverage for bespoke or non-standard network devices • Support the onboarding of new network infrastructure into LogicMonitor as the organization grows, working toward comprehensive coverage of critical network assets • Assist with integrating LogicMonitor alert data into ServiceNow for automated incident creation and into Grafana for unified cross-platform dashboarding ThousandEyes — Network Intelligence & Synthetic Monitoring • Work within the team to support and expand the ThousandEyes deployment including Enterprise Agent rollout, Cloud Agent utilization, and test configuration across the network estate • Design and maintain synthetic monitoring tests (HTTP, BGP, network path, DNS, voice) covering critical internal services, SaaS applications, and internet egress paths • Leverage ThousandEyes path visualization and BGP route monitoring to proactively identify network degradation, ISP issues, and cloud provider reachability problems • Help integrate ThousandEyes alert data and metrics into Grafana dashboards and ServiceNow incidents for centralized correlation with other network events • Use ThousandEyes data to support root cause analysis, capacity planning, and vendor SLA validation NetBrain — Network Automation & Topology • Contribute to the NetBrain platform including network discovery, topology mapping, and device inventory synchronization with the broader CMDB • Build and maintain NetBrain Runbooks to automate network diagnostics and troubleshooting workflows, reducing mean time to resolution for network incidents • Develop Dynamic Maps and network topology views that support NOC operational workflows and Grafana observability dashboards • Leverage NetBrain's automation capabilities to help execute pre/post-change validations and network state verification • Support CMDB accuracy efforts by ensuring NetBrain discovery remains synchronized with ServiceNow asset records Observability Platform Integration & Dashboarding • Build and maintain Grafana dashboards that aggregate network visibility data from LogicMonitor, ThousandEyes, NetBrain, and CloudWatch into unified network health views • Support alert routing from network tools into the centralized alerting framework and ServiceNow event management • Collaborate with platform teams to ensure network telemetry is correctly labeled, normalized, and queryable within the Observability Platform • Contribute network-layer context to shared NOC dashboards, enabling Tier-1 teams to triage network events with minimal escalation Collaboration, Standards & Documentation • Contribute to team standards for network device naming, monitoring coverage, alert severity, and escalation paths across all network monitoring tools • Produce and maintain documentation including runbooks, onboarding guides, and monitoring coverage matrices • Collaborate with NOC, Network Engineering, Cloud, and SRE teams to continuously improve network visibility and reduce alert noise • Mentor junior engineers on tool usage, network monitoring best practices, and observability concepts Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in network engineering, network operations, or network monitoring/observability roles • Hands-on experience working with LogicMonitor at enterprise scale, including datasource configuration and custom LogicModule development • Proven expertise with ThousandEyes — agent deployment, synthetic test design, path analysis, and BGP monitoring • Experience contributing to NetBrain deployments for network topology mapping, runbook automation, and network diagnostics • Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture: LAN/WAN, data center fabric, SD-WAN, firewall/load balancer, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Familiarity with network protocols relevant to monitoring: SNMP, ICMP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, HTTP/S, and network path tracing • Experience integrating network monitoring tools with ServiceNow (event management, CMDB, incident automation) • Ability to build and maintain Grafana dashboards sourcing data from multiple network monitoring platforms • Proficiency in scripting for automation and integrations — Python or similar (Bash, PowerShell acceptable) • Strong communication skills — able to translate network visibility data into clear reporting for engineering and operations stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Experience with CloudWatch for AWS network service monitoring (VPC Flow Logs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect) • Cisco/Juniper/Arista network certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent) strongly preferred • Familiarity with Prometheus and Loki as supplementary observability components within a Grafana stack • Knowledge of ITSM processes and ServiceNow platform administration • Experience in a large-scale enterprise environment with 5,000+ monitored network devices • Background in NOC operations or network incident management
