The Role
The Community Coordinator will be responsible for supervising & helping with the completion of the rehabilitation projects at our apartment communities. This person will help coordinate projects, which may include scheduling and providing assistance with office and maintenance administrative tasks.

What you will do
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments
Provide support in coordinating on-site activities of Company employees, sub-contractors, craftsmen, tradesmen and vendors to ensure that the Company’s goals and standards are met
Maintain a safe work environment, demonstrate that safety is a top priority
Coordinate daily activities by giving progress updates and communicating frequently with operations staff on daily activities
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Set appointments, show apartments, certify potential residents and maintain a high percentage of occupancy
Perform primary duties using a computer system and must keep current on system changes
May coordinate the completion of resident renovations and maintenance work orders
Maintain positive customer relations with current and prospective residents
Enforce response procedures regarding resident concerns such as; work order requests, noise complaints, etc.
Develop and maintain positive relations with tenants, contractors, local community and groups or associations
security.
Communicate important information to residents with well-written and professional notices
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Community Manager or other Leadership staff.
Ensure renewal offers are sent according to policy and are accurate, follow up on all offers to meet set retention goals
Demonstrate effective communication skills when answering telephones or interacting with residents

Must be able to communicate effectively in the organization, both verbally and in writing.
A complete understanding of Fair Housing
Education and Experience
Experience in residential property maintenance.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Exhibit strong attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Suite.
