We work closely with brands across healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, and regional business—acting less like a vendor and more like a strategic partner.We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager who can own client relationships, lead complex projects, and translate big-picture goals into smart, effective marketing work.The RoleThe Senior Account Manager is the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients and plays a critical role in ensuring work is strategic, organized, and delivered at a high level. This role sits at the intersection of client leadership, internal coordination, and strategic thinking.You’ll manage relationships, guide strategy, oversee execution, and keep both clients and internal teams aligned—while spotting opportunities to grow accounts thoughtfully and responsibly.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & StrategyServe as the day-to-day strategic lead for assigned client accountsBuild trusted, long-term client relationships grounded in clarity, responsiveness, and resultsLead client meetings, presentations, and planning sessionsTranslate client goals into clear marketing strategies and actionable plansProvide thoughtful guidance—not just execution—on marketing decisionsAccount & Project ManagementOversee timelines, scopes, deliverables, and budgets across multiple accountsCoordinate cross-functional teams (creative, media, analytics, web, social) to ensure work stays on trackReview work for quality, accuracy, and alignment with strategy before it reaches the clientManage change requests and scope adjustments with confidence and transparencyStrategic Planning & FulfillmentLead the development of strategic marketing plans aligned with client goals and business objectivesTranslate high-level strategy into integrated campaign frameworks and channel recommendationsEnsure strategic plans are fulfilled consistently across creative, media, digital, and other executional workMaintain ownership of strategy throughout the lifecycle of an engagement, from planning through deliveryMonitor progress and performance to ensure execution remains aligned with strategic intentIdentify when plans need to evolve and guide adjustments in partnership with clients and internal teamsConnect the dots across initiatives to ensure cohesive, effective marketing effortsCollaboration & Internal LeadershipAct as the internal advocate for your clients while balancing agency prioritiesClearly brief internal teams and keep communication flowing throughout projectsMentor junior account staff and model strong account leadershipHelp refine internal processes and improve how work moves through the agencyGrowth & Opportunity IdentificationIdentify opportunities to expand or deepen client engagements based on real needsPartner with leadership on renewals, upsells, and new initiativesSupport/lead proposal development and strategic recommendationsNetwork/new clients/etc.Qualifications5–8+ years of experience in leading strategy at a marketing, media, or creative agencyProven ability to manage complex accounts and multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong strategic thinking skills with a solid understanding of digital, media, and creative workflowsConfident communicator—clear, organized, and comfortable leading conversationsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughExperience working with healthcare, nonprofit, institutional, and state/federally funded clients is a plusWork Location & TravelThis is a remote position, with the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. Occasional travel is required to support client needs, including on-site meetings, presentations, and relationship-building.
