Senior Vice President, Data Center DevelopmentLocation: Dallas, Texas (Hybrid)The OpportunityWe are working with a well-capitalised infrastructure platform backed by institutional investors to appoint a Senior Vice President of Data Center Construction to support the next phase of U.S. growth.This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for driving the development of hyperscale and AI-driven data center projects across key U.S. markets, with an initial focus on Texas and the broader ERCOT region.The role will suit an individual who can operate at both a strategic and execution level - originating opportunities, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and advancing projects through to shovel-ready.The RoleLead the full construction lifecycle of large-scale data center projects (100MW+)Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic sites with a strong emphasis on power accessManage utility engagement, interconnection processes, and power strategyOversee entitlement, permitting, and local stakeholder coordinationStructure and negotiate land agreements, joint ventures, and development partnershipsWork closely with capital partners to align development strategy with investment objectivesInterface with hyperscale customers and support commercial discussions where requiredPartner with internal construction and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition into executionThe IndividualProven experience leading construction delivery of hyperscale data center or mission-critical infrastructure projects across the U.S.Demonstrated ownership of multi-site or campus-scale builds ($500M–$5B+), from early works through commissioning readinessDeep experience managing EPC contractors and full construction lifecycleStrong understanding of power infrastructure, utility coordination, and grid constraints (ERCOT experience preferred)Track record of driving projects from site readiness / pre-construction through to mechanical completion and handoverCommercially astute, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and delivery risk across large capital programsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple concurrent buildsExperience working with hyperscale or large colocation operatorsWhy This RoleDirect influence over a significant U.S. program pipelineHigh visibility with senior leadership and investment partnersOpportunity to shape strategy in one of the fastest-growing sectors globallyPlatform for progression into C-suite leadership
