Job Title: Sustainment Management System (SMS) Analyst Location: Remote Job Overview: Areli seeks an experienced SMS Analyst to analyze system data for information requests and perform research for new enterprise system capabilities. The SMS Analyst will apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical enterprise system research assignments. The SMS Analyst will analyze problems, perform test procedures and approaches, record valuable knowledge management notes, and perform research to define new software capabilities. The SMS Analyst will also write reports, analyze data, present findings and compiled metrics, and communicate verbal and written deliverables. The perfect applicant will know about the Sustainment Management System (SMS) BUILDER software. They will also possess outstanding analytical abilities and have a demonstrated history in complex SMS data research. This role requires a strategic thinker who can synthesize complex information and provide insights for organizational advancement. Additionally, the candidate will have proven experience preparing data and templates for executive briefings and knowledge management sessions with working groups. Key Responsibilities: Analyze SMS BUILDER data using SQL Server and Army Vantage to develop responses to executive-level requests for information. Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders by offering ideas and recording key minutes to ensure progress and priorities are reported to the stakeholder community. Participate in knowledge management interviews by recording key minutes to facilitate learning conversations with subject matter experts. Analyze the General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Enterprise SMS (ESMS) capabilities to identify the requirements and feasibility of updating ESMS work items upon completion of projects in GFEBS. Analyze the Installation Status Report – Infrastructure (ISR-I) and ESMS functional assessment capabilities to identify the requirements and feasibility of updating ESMS assessment modules. Test the functionality and accuracy of the proposed integration solution using real or simulated data. Document the findings, recommendations, and best practices for improving the project and equipment management capabilities of ESMS and GFEBS. Qualifications: A minimum of a 4-year college degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience participating in SMS technology assignments. Must display the ability to apply knowledge across tasks and high-impact assignments. Functions as an SMS technical expert across multiple project assignments. Experience with GFEBS (Project Systems), ArMA, ISR-I, and SMS software applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
