Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU / Stepdown / IMCU Location: Warren, Ohio (44484) — Warren, OH travel nursing job Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift: 12-hour nights Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown / IMCU (5th Floor) Patient Ratio: 1:5 nights (acuity dependent) Start Date: April 6, 2026 End Date: July 6, 2026 Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday Scrubs: Navy blue Job Requirements (PCU RN / Travel Nurse) Current RN license in Ohio OR valid compact state license (required) — Ohio RN license preferred for local hires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must obtain prior to direct patient care) ACLS, CCRN, PCCN, and NIH Stroke Certification (preferred) — strong preference for critical care/telemetry certifications Dysrhythmia Exam required (study guide available) Minimum 1 year RN experience (required); 6 months acute care hospital experience preferred EPIC EHR experience and completion of a Critical Care Course preferred PCU RN Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness Administer medications safely and per hospital policies (including IV push and infusion management) Manage vasoactive and antiarrhythmic drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix) and titrate per protocols Provide care for patients with multi-system organ failure, trauma, and complex medical conditions (cardiac, neuro, respiratory, general medicine) Utilize advanced respiratory modalities: BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and care for stable vents/trachs Monitor and interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data; manage chest tubes and other invasive devices Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams and serve as a primary point of contact for families Act as a patient safety advocate, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and support patient education Collaborate with ancillary staff (typically 2 CNAs per shift) and promote culturally competent care and patient-centered decision making Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel PCU Registered Nurse in Warren, OH.
