Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Tech Project Manager (SRE Transformation/Governance) - CLT to join their team. As a Tech Project Manager (SRE Transformation/Governance) - CLT, you will be part of the IT Program Management Office supporting engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Tech Project Manager (SRE Transformation/Governance)Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)Position type: 12 months with high possibility of extension/ConversionOnly W2What's the Job?Support the APSE SRE Transformation program by managing day-to-day execution and ensuring workstreams progress according to plan. Maintain program artifacts including plans, dashboards, and status reports to ensure transparency and accountability. Identify and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies proactively to keep the project on track. Facilitate governance routines, including running working groups, preparing agendas, and following up on action items. Coordinate communication between engineering, operations, and leadership teams, producing executive-level updates and presentations. What's Needed?7+ years of experience in project or program management within technology or engineering organizations. Strong expertise with Agile methodologies, Jira, epics/stories management, and sprint tracking. Experience supporting or working with Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or modern operations teams. Exceptional written communication skills, especially in creating executive presentations and concise summaries. Ability to manage complex workflows, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and operate with professionalism and attention to detail.
