Role OverviewCascade AI is hiring a Senior Account Manager to own renewals, expansion, and strategic account growth across our existing customer base.This is a commercially oriented role. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, drive adoption, run QBRs, map stakeholders, and identify expansion opportunities across new departments and workflows.You are not responsible for implementation — that function is owned separately. Your focus is revenue retention and growth within existing logos.What This Role IsThis is not a support or onboarding role.This is a revenue-carrying account ownership role focused on:Re-selling into the same organizationExpanding into new departments (HR → IT, Legal, Finance)Strengthening executive relationshipsDriving renewal confidenceYou will operate as the commercial owner of your accounts post-sale.Core Responsibilities1. Own RenewalsManage renewal timelines and negotiation strategyIdentify risks early and create mitigation plansEnsure customers clearly understand value deliveredForecast accurately and maintain strong renewal hygiene2. Drive Expansion Within AccountsMap accounts across departments and stakeholder groupsIdentify new workflow and use-case expansion opportunitiesPosition Cascade’s value to new executive buyersPartner with AEs where appropriate to close larger expansionsExpansion at Cascade often means entering new departments, not just increasing seat counts. This requires strategic navigation and commercial skill.3. Lead QBRs & Executive ConversationsRun structured Quarterly Business ReviewsAnchor discussions in value, ROI, adoption, and roadmap alignmentBuild relationships beyond day-to-day usersMulti-thread across HR, IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders4. Drive Adoption & Account HealthMonitor usage and engagement dataRecommend actions to improve adoption and workflow integrationWork closely with Implementation to ensure time-to-valueIdentify and qualify expansion signals within accounts5. Account Strategy & MappingFor each account, you will maintain:Executive stakeholder mapExpansion pathwaysRisk assessment and mitigation planQuarterly action planYou should be able to clearly articulate:Where growth will come fromWhat risks existWhat next steps are requiredCross-Functional CollaborationYou will work closely with:CEO, Sales, and Marketing (for larger expansions or joint selling motions)CS Implementation for onboarding and complex rollout supportProduct & Engineering to communicate strategic customer feedbackThis role requires influence without formal authority.Who You Are5+ years in Account Management, Strategic CSM, or post-sale revenue rolesExperience owning renewals and expansion quotasComfortable navigating enterprise stakeholdersStrong account mapping and multi-threading skillsConfident running executive-level conversationsCommercially minded and revenue-orientedBonus:Experience selling across departments within the same organizationExperience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, IT systems, or enterprise AI
