Position OverviewRole: Pediatric Hospitalist – Main Campus and Community LocationsOur organization is actively seeking pediatric hospitalists who are passionate about pursuing careers in either academic or community hospital medicine. As we expand our clinical programs and enhance our academic initiatives, we invite you to join our Division of Hospital Medicine, which comprises over 70 faculty members across three locations. This division fosters a diverse range of clinical, educational, quality improvement, and research interests.We are currently focused on filling hospitalist roles at our Main Campus and community sites, including Arrowhead and East Valley. Available positions encompass both standard and nocturnist roles, with a shift differential offered for nocturnists.Main CampusThe Main Campus is a dedicated children's hospital featuring a level 1 trauma center and extensive subspecialty care. Here, you will find numerous opportunities to engage in research, quality improvement, and educational activities. We host a well-established, ACGME-accredited two-year pediatric hospitalist fellowship program with six fellows and play a crucial role in the medical education of a large pediatric residency program. Our faculty members also hold academic positions at various prestigious institutions.Arrowhead LocationSet to open in Summer 2024, Arrowhead is a standalone children's hospital located in the Northwest Valley. This facility will include a 32-bed unit, a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and a Pediatric Emergency Department, along with comprehensive subspecialty support and 24/7 in-house coverage by hospitalists and intensive care providers. Teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and hospitalist fellows will also be available.East Valley LocationOpening in 2026, East Valley will be a dedicated Women & Children's center in Gilbert, featuring a 24-bed unit, a PICU, and a Pediatric Emergency Department, as well as comprehensive subspecialty support and continuous in-house coverage. Newborn care will be provided in collaboration with a local medical center, without the need for delivery attendance or NICU coverage. Teaching opportunities for medical students, residents, and hospitalist fellows will also be available.We are in search of dedicated clinicians, leaders, scholars, and educators to become part of our vibrant Division of Hospital Medicine.
