We believe in the value innovation brings to organizational performance.We have our own staff of over 120 high-level consultants, technicians, and professionals, distributed across Latam, the US, Europe, and our headquarters in Uruguay.RequirementsBachelor's degree in an IT-related field.4+ years of experience in Data Engineer positions.Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and Python. Experience with DBT is highly preferred.Hands-on experience in designing, implementing and maintaining data models and ETL/ELT pipelines.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and SpanishStrong interpersonal skills. We valueExperience with data analysis and visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, among others.Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL database systems.Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, IICS, etc.Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, Gitlab, Bitbucket) and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with data observability tools such as Monte CarloFamiliarity with data cataloging tools like Alation or Collibra.Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Data Dog, Opsgenie)Experience in building and maintaining data warehouses on cloud platforms (preferably AWS).Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira.Knowledge of Big Data technologies and platforms.Role responsibilitiesAs a Snowflake Engineer your main responsibilities will be to map, analyze, design, develop, implement, and manage high-complexity solutions on Snowflake data platforms.Implement security measures to ensure data confidentiality.Work collaboratively and directly with client counterparts.Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in requirements and scheduled developments.Actively collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure project success and alignment with the planned objectives.Stay technically updated by regularly training and adopting best practices to perform activities and collaborate on the creation of training plans for the team.Office HoursFull time availability from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (We offer flextime).How we workAt Intermedia, we build teams focused on achieving the results we set out to accomplish, while seeking continuous improvement in everything we do, alongside developing the full potential of our staff.You will be part of an amazing team, where we value doing the right thing.
