Receptionist/ Customer Service RepresentativeChelsea, MA Grade 14 Full TimeSummary of duties and responsibilities: Kayem's Customer Service Representative/ Front Desk Administrator is a vital member of the Kayem team and the partner of our valued customers. This team member, as the face of our company, will ensure that callers and customers receive best in class service and that sales inquiries and issues are handled within Kayem's guidelines, values, and customer specifications. Also, this individual will be the person guests meet upon arrival and when calling the company.Essential duties and responsibilities:Responds to customer and consumer inquiries/issues timely and professionallyInvestigates and solves issues related to orders, shipments, or other customer related mattersParticipates in new computer software implementationAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentGreets guests and directs phone calls effectively appropriatelyProvides information on products and services to customersManages orders received via EDI or other method, to ensure pricing, inventory and dates are correct to meet customer expectationsCommunicates professionally with customers, brokers, sales team and transportation departmentEngages with warehouses for proper fulfillment and timely delivery of ordersRemains informed of sales promotions and marketing initiativesPerforms reception and administrative work as assignedRequired skill and experience: We are looking for strong customer focused individuals who possess the following traits:Two to Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to type 40+ words per minute accurately.Excellent written and verbal listening and communication skills with a high level of professionalismProactive problem resolution skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasksPerforms effectively within a collaborative team environment.Demonstrates empathy and develops positive relationshipsHas a continuous improvement spiritKnowledge of PC applications and ability to learn new software programsQualifications and requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
