Data Center Technician/Operator - full-time permanent role Location: South Carolina / Onsite Start date: ASAP!Salary band: $70,000 - $90,000Join a cutting-edge data center environment powering next-generation AI and GPU-driven workloads. This is a unique opportunity to step into a junior, hands-on role at a large-scale 45MW facility, supporting critical infrastructure at a time of major transition and growth.You’ll be part of a highly technical, fast-moving operation that supports some of the most demanding compute environments in the industry. The site is known for its high-density GPU deployments, strong engineering culture and continuous investment in advanced infrastructure.Your RoleInstalling and maintaining server, GPU, and network hardware (racking, stacking, cabling)Managing equipment moves and site changes, including support for decommissioning activitiesTroubleshooting and resolving hardware and connectivity issuesReplacing faulty components (e.g., drives, RAM, power supplies, GPUs)Monitoring system configuration, performance, and environmental conditions (cooling, power, security)Maintaining structured and well-documented cable infrastructureResponding to and managing incident tickets within SLAYour ProfileProven experience in data center operations or similar environments (6 months experience as a minimum)Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and infrastructure systemsConfident in hardware troubleshooting and repairsComfortable working with ticketing systems and operational processesPhysically able to handle heavy equipmentStrong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyBenefitsOpportunity to work in a high-performance AI-focused data centerExposure to cutting-edge GPU infrastructure and large-scale deploymentsTraining and certifications funded to support your developmentClear path to technical leadership and growthStable full-time role: Monday–Friday, 9–5 (40 hours/week)Healthcare & pension plan Mentorship program Interested or know someone who could be?
