Senior SQL & Power BI Developer

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL & Power BI Developer to join a high-impact technology team supporting enterprise-level data and business intelligence initiatives. This role is ideal for a senior-level developer with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL development, data warehousing, ETL, and database performance optimization.This position is for developing Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX, data modeling, and performance tuning and a strong SQL expertise in PL/SQL and T/SQL for building and optimizing database solutions.Please note that although the position is 100% remote, the live scan will be conducted onsite at our Downey HQ location. (California candidates are preffered)Experience required: This classification must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.1) 3 years of experience in the past 4 years developing interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, including using DAX for building measures, calculated columns, and time-based analytics. 2) 3 years of experience in the past 4 years writing stored procedures, triggers, and performance-tuned queries using PL/SQL and T/SQL and worked with tools such as SQL*Plus, Oracle SQL Developer, and Oracle Data Integrator, along with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). 3) 3 years of experience in the past 4 years in working with Oracle and Microsoft SQL database architecture, data preparation, modeling, normalization, performance tuning and optimization for large-scale datasets. 4) 3 years of experience in the past 4 years in working with designing and developing data warehouses using other platforms like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and familiarity with data warehousing tools like Azure Synapse. 5) 3 years of experience in the past 4 years in working with data cleansing, data profiling, and data validation techniques to ensure high data integrity in the data warehouse.Education Required:This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering fieldBachelors in computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
