Small Cell/Utility TechnicianCapStone Solutions is a construction telecommunications company seeking a small cell/utility technician for the greater Portland area. We mentor our employees as we create opportunities for personal career growth and development.Job DescriptionInstall small cell equipment on utility poles and prep in our shopAssist or operate our bucket truck, set poles and other structures to install, reconfigure and repair small cell and other antenna and cable equipmentOperate electronic test equipment including cable testers, fiber testers, battery testers and other RF analysis equipmentInstall outdoor cell site systems including cabinets, associated conduits, and small cell equipmentTroubleshoot and evaluate data related to small cell systemsPerform power, fiber optic, cat5/cat6, waveguide and coaxial cable installations and testingRead Scope of Work (SOW) documents and delivers project outcomes to scope and as directedOther responsibilities, tasks, and assignments as deemed appropriate by CapStoneQualificationsMust be able to work outside of normal business hours (i.e., shift work), to include nights and weekends, when needed.Self-starter with the desire and ability to learn and retain new knowledge.Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.Good work ethic and positive attitude.Reliability and a team mentality is a must.Ability to learn and retain physical and mechanical installation specifications.Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75+ lbs.Must be reliable, punctual and able to learn and retain new information.Preferred QualificationsValid Driver License with Clean MVR and Reliable TransportationTraffic Control ExperienceCompetent Tower Climbing CertificationCompetent RiggerRF Safety and Awareness CertificationCPR/First Aid CertifiedBloodborne PathogensOSHA 10OSHA 30BenefitsCompetitive wages DOEPer Diem Allowance for Overnight TravelOvertime10 paid days off7 Paid HolidaysDirect deposit weeklyExcellent paid medical, vision, and dental benefitsLife and Disability Insurance Coverage401K PlanCapstone strongly encourages applications from military veterans!
