Travel RN - Med/Surg - Wound/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with wound care expertise and a MA license for an inpatient wound/ostomy position on day shift.Job Details• Position is in the inpatient wound care unit of a 400-bed community hospital,• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm,• Hospital-wide wound care with significant wound patient population,• Two to three wound RNs scheduled per day,• Responsibilities include wound consults, wound census management, and new ostomy management,• Uses EPIC EMR for all charting and documentation,• No floating or rotating shifts required,Job Requirements• Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts (MA),• MA conditional licenses are not accepted; license must be active upon consideration,• Minimum of 2 years direct wound care experience required,• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher required,• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required,• W.O.C.N. or equivalent certification preferred,• Experience with wound staging, vac dressing changes, wound consults, and ostomy management required,• EPIC EMR experience preferred,Additional Information• Responsibilities include providing wound and ostomy care consultations and managing complex wound cases,• Team-based support with two to three wound RNs per day,• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions permitted,• Dress code or attire requirements are not specified,• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for standard pay,
