Metal FinisherOur client in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metal Finisher to join our team. This position is responsible for finishing, smoothing, and polishing metal parts to meet quality and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand tools, grinders, and finishing equipment in a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Grind, sand, polish, and buff metal parts to required specificationsRemove excess material, burrs, and sharp edges from metal componentsUse hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment (grinders, sanders, buffers)Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are metRead and interpret basic blueprints and work instructionsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and wear required PPEAssist with other general labor tasks as neededQualifications:Previous experience in metal finishing, grinding, or fabrication preferredExperience with hand tools and power tools requiredAbility to read measuring tools such as calipers or micrometers (preferred)Strong attention to detail and qualityAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsReliable attendance and strong work ethicPay: $16-$20 Shift: 1st shiftAbout Cardinal StaffingAt Cardinal Staffing, a Surestaff Company, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
