This position offers the chance to provide anesthesia services at a Level II Trauma Center with a robust cardiovascular program. Responsibilities: As a CV Anesthesiologist, your primary responsibilities will include:Performing anesthesia for a wide range of cardiovascular casesSupervising a team of CV Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)Conducting Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs) to assist with intraoperative monitoringAdministering epidural anesthesia for pain managementHandling all cardiovascular cases except transplants, including ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) and thoracic cases Additional Details: Setting: You will be working in a Level II Trauma Center known for its strong cardiovascular program, providing vital anesthesia services for complex cases.Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): This is a full-time position with a workload equivalent to 1.0 FTE.EMR: The facility utilizes the Cerner electronic medical record system, ensuring seamless documentation and communication.Support Staff: You will be supported by a dedicated team of CV CRNAs and CV MDs who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements: To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:Board Certification: You must be board certified in Anesthesiology.Arkansas License: A valid Arkansas medical license is required for this position.DEA Certification: You must possess a current DEA certification.Clean Malpractice/Background: While not mandatory, a clean malpractice and background record are preferred.Availability: You must be available at the time of name clearance to start the assignment promptly.
