This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role at a well-known DTC and retail CPG company focused on helping people live healthier, more energized lives.The company has built a loyal customer base online and through major retail partners including Target and Kroger, and is entering its next stage of growth. They are looking for a hands-on accounting leader who can strengthen processes, elevate reporting, and help scale the business alongside a collaborative executive team.This role is fully remote and offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, and equity.What You’ll DoLead core accounting operations and support the month-end and year-end close processManage and mentor a small accounting team (2–3 team members)Oversee reconciliation of high-volume Shopify and ecommerce transactionsEnsure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606Support retail accounting processes across key national partners including Target and KrogerManage sales tax and other indirect tax compliance processesImprove and build scalable accounting policies, controls, and operational proceduresPartner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teamsAssist with audits, financial statement preparation, and technical accounting mattersEvaluate systems and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting accuracyHelp build the accounting infrastructure needed for the company’s next phase of growthWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA strongly preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within consumer products, ecommerce, or high-growth environmentsStrong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognitionExperience reconciling Shopify, ecommerce, or other high-volume transactional dataFamiliarity with inventory and retail accounting environmentsExperience managing or mentoring accounting staffAbility to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environmentStrong systems aptitude and process improvement mindsetExcellent communication and organizational skillsInterested in hearing more?
