Join us and contribute to a high-impact team where your expertise will help shape Avride's financial future.About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support our U.S. finance operations. This role will be responsible for reviewing expense reports, maintaining accounts payable and fixed assets as well assupporting day-to-day accounting and reconciliation activities. This roll will be integral to the month end close process. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with accounting, and a proactive, hands-on approach to daily operations.What You'll DoAccounting Operations:Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, prepaid transactions, and month-end close tasks.Responsible for accounts payable, expensify, and fixed assets.Support AP reconciliations and the AP run processMonitor GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Other duties as assigned.Process Improvement & Compliance:Ensure adherence to internal controls over AP and fixed asset accounting.Identify and propose improvements to streamline processes.Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external auditsWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a U.S. GAAP based company.Familiarity with NetSuiteStrong Excel skills and attention to detail.Nice to HaveExposure to cost accounting or expense allocation practices.Understanding of equity or bonus compensation accounting is a plus.Candidates are required to be authorized to work in the U.S. The employer is not offering relocation sponsorship, and remote work options are not available.
