Construction Health and Safety Manager
Job Description
This is a full time, on-site role Construction Health and Safety Manager. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing site safety protocols, conducting safety training, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and performing regular safety inspections. The role also involves identifying and mitigating potential risks, maintaining accurate documentation, and responding to incidents or emergencies as needed. The Construction Health and Safety Manager will collaborate with project managers and field teams to create a safe working environment. Qualifications:Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessmentDesign, implement and maintain safety manuals, procedures and training programsExperience in conducting safety training and creating safety documentationAbility to perform safety inspections, monitor compliance, and implement corrective actionsfamiliarity with the construction industry and its safety standards; certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30 are preferredThree to five years of experience in a site safety or similar supervisory role
