Originally LA-born and now proudly New York–based, the brand has built a national following through obsessive attention to detail and consistently high-quality execution.Now baking fresh in Brooklyn, Last Crumb is opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Williamsburg, Spring 2026. This is not a bakery counter. It is an immersive, hospitality-driven cookie experience — the first of its kind — where every cookie is finished, decorated, and presented to order in front of the customer. As we enter this next phase of growth, we are building a team of cookie enthusiasts who are excited to help shape the future of a brand from the ground up.Position SummaryThe Hospitality Associate is the face of Last Crumb’s first retail store. As part of the opening team, you will play a critical role in bringing our in-person experience to life — creating memorable, high-touch interactions for every guest.This role is responsible for delivering best-in-class service, executing orders with precision, and maintaining the elevated standards that define the brand. Every detail matters — from how a cookie is presented to how a guest feels when they leave.This is an opportunity to be part of the opening team for Last Crumb’s first brick-and-mortar location. You understand that great hospitality is felt, not just delivered.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome & Serve Guests: Greet customers with a cheerful, professional attitude and create a positive first impression.Process Orders: Accurately take orders and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to handle cash, credit, and digital transactions.Product Knowledge: Provide information about our cookies, ingredients, and seasonal offerings.Prepare & Package: Carefully package cookies and maintain a visually appealing display of products.Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the booth neat, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day.Health & Safety: Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety guidelines to maintain compliance with NYC regulations.Team Support: Assist teammates with restocking, light food prep, and other operational tasks as needed.Adapt as Needed: Perform other duties as assigned to keep the booth running smoothly during busy hours.QualificationsPrevious experience in customer service, retail, or food service is a plus but not required.Strong communication and people skills; enjoys interacting with the public.Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy, fast-paced environment.Basic math skills for handling cash and digital payments.Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays .Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.NYC Food Handler’s Permit required (or willingness to obtain; cost covered by company).Core CompetenciesFriendly, customer-focused, and professional demeanor.Team-oriented and dependable with a strong work ethic.Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.Commitment to delivering high-quality service and product presentation.Working ConditionsFrequent standing, walking, bending, and light lifting.Usage of cleaning chemicals.
