Preventative Maintenance

Preventative MaintenanceResponsible for the preventive maintenance of building mechanical systems and equipment on a scheduled and occasional basis. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele. Essential Physical Requirements: Constant lifting five (5) to twenty (20) pounds. Frequent lifting twenty (20) to fifty (50) pounds. Occasional lifting over fifty (50) pounds. Frequent climbing stairs and ladders. Constant bending, squatting, standing, reaching, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, stooping, repetitive motions. Frequent overhead work.Position Specific Information (if Applicable):Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems, such as motor lubrication, filters, pumps, belts, valves, etc.Inspect all systems and equipment on a regular basis.Make determinations on necessary preventive maintenance activities.Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with other trades.Makes recommendations for purchase of equipment and supplies.Maintain necessary records and reports.May be responsible for maintenance of back flow systems.Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.Certifications:Backflow Prevention Certification - ASSEEducation:High School or Equivalent (Required)Position Type:RegularPrimary Location:O&M EastOne Year Only (Yes or No):NoScheduled Hours Per Week:40FTE:1.00Approx Scheduled Days Per Year:260 Work Days(260 days indicates a year-round position.
