Funding Coordinator

PlainsCapital Bank is currently looking to hire a Funding Coordinator in Dallas, Texas. The Funding Coordinator for the National Warehouse Lending (NWL) division is responsible for ensuring loan data integrity and accuracy for residential loans to be properly funded in a timely manner. This highly motivated individual will interact with customers across the country and is responsible for creating open communication and enhancing the customer relationship while maintaining compliance and confidentiality. This position supports the NWL operations department while ensuring the loan funding process operates effectively.ResponsibilitiesActs as primary point of contact for customers when processing their funding requests.Reviews loan documentation submitted via the Warehouse Lending System.Completes necessary data input to generate wires.Confirms and prepares wires to be submitted to the Wire Transfer department.Follows internal funding guidelines while also complying with all applicable federal rules and regulations.Manages and resolves various time sensitive issues with loans that arise daily for customers’ funding requests.Works with other departments to collect all items necessary for loan funding.Establish and maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all bank associates.Performs general administrative duties.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsHigh School diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required.1 or more years of experience in administrative role or related field of expertise.Basic knowledge of residential mortgage (FHA, VA, and/or conventional) lending, processing, funding, and/or loan documents is strongly preferred.
