We also have developed a range of by-products for specialized applications across industry, construction and agriculture, which utilize Harsco's expertise in mineral materials.Job DescriptionJob Summary:This position is responsible for extensive travelling to various sites and operating off road type heavy, mobile equipment (such as cable or dragline crane, hydraulic material handler/excavator, pot carrier, and/or front-end loader). This position may be working rotating shifts. All work will be performed in a steel mill environment. Duties include but not limited to:A. Perform and record routine mobile equipment pre-start and post inspections,B. Complete required activity reports.C. Follow all policies and rules of the company and the customerD. Maintain high level of safety and abide by all safe work requirements.E. Training operators on proper equipment operationQualifications1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. 3+ years' experience as a heavy equipment operator.3. Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions.4. Good communications skills, and the ability to read operating instructions.5. Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.6.
