Sr. Backend Java Developer

Role: Sr. Backend Java Developer Location: San Leandro, CA Interview mode: Face to face required Role Summary We are seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend services and data processing platforms applications. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot. - Build cloud-native microservices and REST APIs deployed on AWS. - Build and optimize distributed data processing solutions for high-volume enterprise applications. - Design high-performance, resilient systems following modern software engineering best practices. - Leverage AI technologies to improve developer productivity and integrate AI-powered capabilities into applications. - Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, performance tuning, testing, and production support. Required Skills - 7+ years of software engineering experience. - Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21. - Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. - Strong experience developing applications on AWS. - Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, or similar distributed data technologies. - Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and modern data storage technologies. - Experience designing REST APIs and distributed backend systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile development environments.
