Lead Java Developer(W2 Only)

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency Java applications Contribute to backend development (~70% coding + testing) Build scalable and reliable components for trading systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams (trading, product, infrastructure) Participate in system design, architecture, and performance tuning Support modernization efforts (on-prem → AWS migration) Ensure code quality through testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Required Qualifications Strong expertise in Java backend development Experience with high-volume, low-latency systems Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning Strong hands-on coding and testing experience Ability to perform well in technical coding assessments Preferred Qualifications Experience in financial services / capital markets (preferred) Exposure to AWS or cloud migration initiatives Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Knowledge of trading systems, market data, or FIX protocol Pay: $80.00 per hour Work Location: In person
