We are the number one choice for regional clients with multiple accounts, convenience stores, and those who prefer remote monitoring and control.Job Summary:A Controls Technician maintains, installs, and troubleshoots automated control systems-such as PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, actuators, BAS/DCS/SCADA-for industrial, commercial, or HVAC systems.What you will be doing:Review scope of work and resources, specs, and design.Understand or develop an accurate and detailed sequence of operation.Participate in pre-Integration engineering on some sales projects.Perform complete Integrations and programming for the following:Honeywell WebsJohnson Metasys - N2 Bus/Johnson FX 40Have a working knowledge of LAN and WAN s including Routers, IP s.Provides technical support as needed.Some on site field engineering will be required for Integration/Control projects.What you need for this position:Experience with Web enabled Building Automation and Integration programming and engineering. Knowledge of multiple HVAC control manufactures products including unit controllers with Standard Industry Protocols and Integration programming is necessary (BACnet, Lon Talk, Modbus and Niagara Frame work). Knowledge of Java, XML, and OBiX is a Plus. Tridium/Niagara AX certification will be a requirement to either currently have or the capability, background and desire to obtain certification.Education and Experience:Associate degree or technical certification in electrical engineering, automation, HVAC, or related field.2-5 years in control systems work, HVAC, industrial automation, or instrumentationPhysical Requirements:Physical tasks: climbing ladders, lifting 40-75 lbs, crouching in tight spaces, etc.Interested in joining the team?Check us out at conservonline.com/careers#INDCBS
