Excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a scaling company.Position Overview The Staff Accountant will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements. This role will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all accounting functions.Key Responsibilities Perform general accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closePrepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAPReconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving variancesSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activitiesAssist with development and improvement of internal controls, policies, and proceduresHandle tax-related filings including sales tax, property tax, and other compliance requirementsSupport internal reporting and assist with ad hoc projects as neededCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial dataCross-train across accounting functions (AP, AR, etc.) to support team coverageQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of general accounting and/or audit experience (mix preferred)Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExperience preparing financial statements and supporting reconciliationsAdvanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentSelf-starter with strong attention to detail and leadership potentialPreferred Qualifications Experience with lease accounting, service contracts, or commission structuresERP or accounting system experience (e.g., ECI E-automate, QuickBooks)Background in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Inventory accountingExperience with budgeting and forecastingPowered by JazzHR
