Verbatim Court Reporter

To support a dynamic legal transcription environment, the contracted Verbatim Court Reporter Transcriptionist will transcribe court proceedings and depositions from audio recordings with a focus on accuracy and adherence to strict formatting rules while working remotely and managing a flexible schedule. Key Responsibilities:Transcribe court proceedings, trials, and depositions from audio recordings in a verbatim format Apply quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and compliance with court formatting rules Demonstrate knowledge of legal terminologies and manage turnaround times for transcription tasksRequired Qualifications:Proven experience in verbatim transcription of court proceedings and trials AAERT certification preferred for applicants Ability to distinguish and format Q&A and colloquy content Competence in transcription software and Microsoft Office Willingness to complete a skills assessment test
