Software Development Advisor

Our client, a global claims management company, is looking for a senior advisor for their software development team. While the position is remote in the US, they are looking for someone in Eastern or Central time zones only.Required Skillset:7-10 years of design and development of API layer for a web applicationEntity Framework CoreSQL Server T-SQL.Net Core 8.0ASP.Net Core 8.0Moq unit testing frameworkSerilog logging frameworkSeq – structured logging repositoryAzure DevOps Repository experienceAbility to set up and manage automated builds in Azure DevOpsN-Tier TechnologyScrum team experience Day to Day:In this role, you will determine the impact of new programs and ensure their compatibility with existing system operations. You will oversee the development of system specifications through interaction with business users and sponsors; determining the feasibility of the resulting projects; and displaying strong depth of knowledge in specific business subject areas. You will also oversee the design, development, maintenance, testing and debugging of software ensuring software development lifecycle (SDLC) guidelines are followed. You will also lead the development, modification, and maintenance of software to meet company needs and user suggestions. Other responsibilities include: prepare program documentation including administrator and end user help documents, provide guidance and training to team, prepare status reports to department manager, as well as ensure successful completion of projects in conformance to project goals and requirements.
