Technical Program Manager – Data Foundations
Overview
As Technical Program Manager at Adyen, you drive the Data Foundation program and enable cross-team execution to establish robust data governance and self-serve infrastructure. You will align multiple solutions, manage dependencies, and reduce technical debt while promoting data as a product. You’ll guide organizational adoption and implement standardized health artifacts to measure progress. This role offers the chance to shape how data is stored, used, and governed at scale within a ambitious, collaborative tech culture.

ResponsibilitiesOwn the Data Foundation program and unblock teams to prioritize building over navigating dependenciesBridge gaps across solutions and manage cross-team dependenciesMitigate program risks to prevent delays and poor technical decisionsLead change management to embed a data-as-a-product mindset across the organizationCoordinate modernization and legacy-deprecation milestones to reduce technical debtEstablish and maintain program health artifacts (RAID logs, dashboards, blueprints, cross-team roadmaps)
Key requirements5–7 years of experience leading complex, high-stakes technical programs or platform migrations in global, cross-product environments (preferably Tech)Functional understanding of modern data design patterns and infrastructure (Data Mesh, Data Contracts, lineage tracking, metadata cataloging)Strong change management and communication skills to align product and engineering teamsSystems thinking to manage dependencies and synthesize trade-offs across productsMetrics-driven with experience in telemetry, RAID logs, and program dashboardscollaborationcross-functional communicationstakeholder managementData MeshData Contractsdata lineage tracking
